LINKS These are a few of my favorite links, some might be helpful, and some are just for fun. Organizations This is the site of the American Art Pottery Association, who's annual convention I attend in the Spring.
http://www.wisconsinpottery.org/ The Wisconsin Pottery Association is a group of pottery enthusiasts, collectors and dealers from the Midwest, and has an annual show and sale in August.
Helpful Links A good search engine for websites, images, video and news.
Just ask Jeeves and he will answer.
Red Roof Inns, where we stay when on the road. They are usually consistently clean and well kept, and the "stay 10 nights, get one free" deal is a nice addition.
I use Intellicast to keep track of the weather.
Other Artists Paul and Denise Morris are potter friends of mine from Minnesota. They make decorated salt-glazed stoneware, that is part of my own personal collection. Paul has thrown pottery for me to decorate, and is the artist who made the square vases that came out in 2006. Check out their new website. They are both great musicians as well.
Dard Hunter III, now runs the family business selling frames, home furnishings, tile and tile frames, jewelry, and books, to name a few.
Evander is a jewelry artist in Passé-a-Grille, Florida. His gallery is a "do not miss" if you are in the St. Petersburg, Florida area. It's a museum, where they serve Sangria when you enter.
http://www.santafedesignstudio.com/ Eric Rattan, at Santa Fe Design Studio, makes some of the most incredible tile and stone mosaics. His stone and tile "carpets" are most impressive.
Otto Heino, the potter with the "Million dollar glaze".
Potter, Tim Eberhardt's site. Tim makes incredible porcelain art pottery.
For Fun http://www.windpowersports.com/ One of my favorite hobbies is Kite Buggying. Basically, you get pulled around on a three wheeled cart by a big kite, either on the beach, a big open field, or a dry lakebed in the desert. Cory Jensen's site will give you an idea of what it is about.
One of my favorite bands. These guys are all accomplished, multi-instrumental musicians, and are a lot of fun to see live. If they are in a town near you, and you like acoustic roots music, please go see them and tell them I sent you.
GO PACKERS!!!
